The Moeller Freshman played their 4th and final scrimmage of the year with another splendid pitching performance by the pitching staff and timely hitting. The Centerville Elks were held to 2 hits and 1 unearned run.
Max Tramontana pitched the first 2 innings granting 2 hits with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts..
Nate Gaerke pitched the third inning allowing 1 walk with 1 strikeout to the 4 batters he faced.
Zach Carty followed striking out 2 of the 3 batters he faced. And
PJ Kaylor closed the game striking out 2 of the 4 batters he faced with 1 walk. The Crusader Freshman took advantage of some big hits and Centerville pitching lack of throwing strikes. Moeller scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and 4 more in the 2nd inning. But it was the 5th inning when the Frosh sent 15 batters to the plate highlighted by a bases loaded double by
PJ Kaylor and hits from
Jason Galanie,
