MOELLER 6   FENWICK 0  (NO-HITTER)

Jacob Masterson and Nate Gaerke team up to pitch a no-hitter verses the Bishop Fenwick Falcons today at the Blue Ash Sports Complex.  Masterson pitched the first 5 innings walking 5 batters while striking out 3 batters.  Gaerke pitched the last 2 innings with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.  Moeller posted a run in the first inning when leadoff batter Keelan Daniel walked and then stole second.  Hayden Nelson lined a single to score Daniel.  Daniel and Nelson led off the third inning with a back to back singles.  Colin Berry reached on a fielders and Zach Carty continued his hot hitting lining a single to left to collect 2 more rbis.  It was a 3-0 game until the bottom of the 6th inning when PJ Kaylor was hit by the pitch to start the inning.  Max Tramontana doubled home Kaylor.  Nate Gaerke walked as did Jason Galanie.  Tramontana scored on a wild pitch and Gaerke scored on a Seth Stephens ground out.  Hitting leaders were: Hayden Nelson 2-4, with Keelan Daniel, Zach Carty, Max Tramontana, and Jacob Masterson all getting hits.  The Moeller Freshman record goes to 5-1 and 1-0 in the GCL.
