Moeller Crusaders Varsity Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Loveland

Moeller Crusaders Varsity nabbed the lead late in the game in a 7-6 victory over Loveland on Friday. The game was tied at six with Moeller Crusaders Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Jack Pacetti singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Moeller Crusaders Varsity collected ten hits and Loveland had four in the high-scoring affair.

Loveland got on the board in the first inning when Matthew Treadway induced Soth to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Moeller Crusaders Varsity tied things up at six when Quinton Morris hit a solo homer.

Moeller Crusaders Varsity scored three runs in the fourth inning. Eric Bronner, Parker Allen, and Michael O'Callaghan all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Loveland scored three runs in the fifth inning. Cox and Kieffer each had RBIs in the frame.

Austin Strickland got the win for Moeller Crusaders Varsity. He went one and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out four and walking zero. Zach Miesch and Tucker Hughes entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Myklebust took the loss for Loveland. He went four innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and striking out six.

Treadway started the game for Moeller Crusaders Varsity. He went two innings, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out three

Moeller Crusaders Varsity tallied one home run on the day. Morris went yard in the fifth inning.

Moeller Crusaders Varsity racked up ten hits on the day. Ryan Galanie, Bronner, and Andrew Deyhle all managed multiple hits for Moeller Crusaders Varsity. Galanie led Crusaders with three hits in three at bats.
